Berthume Software maintains one primary installer for the core application. Partners direct their customers to install the current version โ no custom builds, no version sprawl.
Localized template collection packages are created, packaged, and distributed by the partner. Collections can evolve independently without waiting on software release cycles.

We're actively building integration capabilities that make this even more compelling for partners and their customers.
Command-line parameters will allow any application โ regardless of programming language โ to launch Data Fortress and instantly display all related records for a given entity. A customer record in a vertical market ERP, for example, can link directly to supplemental data, files, and notes managed in Data Fortress.
Built-in tools for exporting and importing information records โ allowing customers to move data between systems, share records with colleagues, or migrate to other platforms. Exported data will include the parent template definitions for full context.
Every alphanumeric field will support user-defined lookup tables โ giving customers dropdown-style selection for consistent data entry. Template collections will ship with pre-built lookup tables for common fields, reducing setup time significantly.
Support for popular SQL databases is planned, allowing customers to use external reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms to access and analyze their Data Fortress data.
Coming in a future update: the ability to import multiple collections into a single Data Fortress database. Users will be able to switch between collections instantly, each with its own menu configuration โ making it practical to purchase and use several industry collections side by side in one instance.
