Yes. You can download and install any collection and use it for 21 days free before purchasing. Explore the templates, test the features, and make sure it fits your workflow before you buy.
A template collection is a pre-built set of templates, menus, and workflows tailored to a specific industry or use case. Each collection gives you a proven structure from day one — accounting firms, plumbing contractors, homeschool families, music composers, and 60+ more industries are covered.
Collections are fully customizable. Each collection installs as its own Data Fortress instance, so you can install and run multiple collections side by side.
Every collection is AI-generated using deep domain research — analyzing industry workflows, regulatory requirements, operational patterns, and best practices. This produces expert-level template structures at a fraction of traditional consulting costs.
Each collection is then reviewed by a software architect with 40+ years of experience to ensure it's practically usable by real people in real businesses. Learn more about our process.
Absolutely. Template collections are starting points, not locked systems. You have full control to:
- Add new templates, fields, and menus
- Modify labels, field types, sections, and purposes
- Delete or deactivate templates you don't need
- Reorganize menus to match your workflow
No developer required. No support ticket. Changes take minutes, not hours.
Yes. Each collection installs as its own Data Fortress instance with its own database. You can install and run as many collections as you like — they operate independently. The ability to merge multiple collections into a single database is planned for a future update.
We're adding new collections regularly. If yours isn't listed, let us know — we may already have it in development. You can also start with the Small Business collection and customize it to match your workflow, or discuss a custom collection built specifically for your industry.
We provide full support for the Data Fortress software — installation, registration, features, technical issues, and how-to questions about using the application.
Template collections are AI-generated starting points designed for you to customize. We do not provide support for individual template content decisions (e.g., "Why doesn't this collection have field X?" or "How should I organize my accounting workflow?"). The answer to those questions is: customize it yourself — which takes minutes and requires no technical skills.
Because you own your templates. Template collections are flexible starting points generated through AI research — not rigid, consultant-designed deliverables. Every business operates differently, and the templates are designed to be shaped to your specific needs.
This approach keeps costs low (we can include all 67+ collections for $99), gives you complete control, and ensures Data Fortress adapts to how you work — not the other way around.
Yes. If you need a collection tailored to your specific industry, workflows, and terminology, we offer custom collection development as a paid service. Contact us to discuss your requirements and get a quote based on complexity and iterations needed.

Each license is for one user. If you use Data Fortress on multiple personal machines (e.g., desktop and laptop), that's fine — the license follows you, not the hardware. If multiple people in your organization need to use the software, each person needs their own license.
